August a month filled with meteor showers
Grasshoppers jumping out of all the flowers
Birds winging west in anticipation
Of autumn vacations in off the wall stations.
August a month filled with sunshine and heat
When rubber heeled shoes all stick to the streets.
Lets go for a ride in the country so green
Enjoying the summer with hats and sun screen
